Mini Makeovers For Any Room
Being in self quarantine I have definitely put my home office to good use. I've been able to create day in and
day out, which has always been a dream of mine. But, in doing so I thought why not spruce up my space a little bit
being that I don't know how long I will be utilizing my creative space to essentially work from home on
my own accord. This entry I decided to put together a few key items I use as a mini makeover for any room
that you can too!
The first interior decorating piece I reach for are.....pillows! I can honestly say I have more pillows than bedding at this point
, but you can never really have too many. They can be used to change up the look in your bedroom, living, office space
,basement or bonus area. Preferably I like to shop for three different kind of pillows; solids, prints and textured ones.
Stay tuned for my pillow obsession post coming soon for a more in depth look at my pillow picking process & collection!
Next, I like to add a one big mirror or multiple small decorative mirrors as a way to create a feature wall for
a mini makeover. Mirrors help reflect light into your space, add a touch of elegance to your design aesthetic and
allow you to double take at your own image. Full length mirrors are a classic, but for me I go for the more
artistic approach of decorative mirrors. Discover more more ways to open up your interiors
Lastly, candles is my go to. But, not the obvious use of lightening them. I use mine purely for decoration in places like my workspace,
dresser, dining room table and more. My favorite ones are the ones that have a decorative glass holder. These in particular
can be a great way to add an accent of color to room or even create a focal point but setting up a candle arrangement on
a mirrored tray creating a center piece for your coffee table. Truly the options are endless when it comes to mini makeovers.
