Kylie Cosmetics X Kourtney Collaboration

Ever since Kylie Jenner launched Kylie Cosmetics in 2015 there has been much buzz surrounding the company, good and bad. I wanted to find out for myself whether her products were truly worth purchasing or were they just being bought because "Kylie" made them.

I was never really tempted by any of her previous collection launches until her recent one with sister, Kourtney Kardashian. I'm equally as surprised by this as you are. I almost certainly thought Kim's KKW beauty collaboration would have been the one to suck me in, but I was evidently wrong. What caught my eye with Kourtney's collection was the 3 signature lip kits shades followed by the matching pressed powder palettes, which came in three different bundles; blue, green and pink.

Now I have to say I wasn't exactly sold when the initial drop happened. I wanted it, but I wasn't ready to purchase it. It was shortly after during the restock that I had my card ready to be ran. Turns out the pink palette bundle that I ended up ordering literally sold out in 5 minutes and amazingly I got the last one.Crazy I know!

Although I was a little disappointed there was no "true" red lipstick like Kourtney seems to wear often, instead a tangerine color took it's place. All in all I was happy with my purchase of the pink palette bundle which included French Kiss, the coordinating lip kit. About a week later I received my cosmetics in the mail and I was more than excited to try them out.

First thing I noticed was the cute "handwritten" thank you note from Kylie, which I thought adding that extra special touch to my purchase. Next I went straight for the iconic lip kit in color French Kiss; you guys know I love a good nude lip. I loved the fact the the matte lipstick had a scent to it that reminded me of pink Hubba Bubba bubblegum from my childhood. Needless to say I wish it was edible.

Lastly I moved on to the pink palette of pressed powder and I was pleasantly surprised. The four eyeshadows were extremely pigmented which I very satisfied with coming in Diamond(a icy gold), Poosh(a metallic pink), The Queen(a matte tangerine), and Gluten Free(a metallic peachy pink). Oh, I totally can not forget to mention the super cute hologram packaging! After all was said and done I created this glamorous beauty look using solely this collection and here's what I got.

Final Thoughts

Would I buy another Kylie Cosmetics Collaboration?

Yea, i'm currently eyeing the Momager Kollection with Kris Jenner. The color names are literally the best! I think "Your sister is going to jail" and "10%" are my top favs.

How many stars would you rate the Kylie Cosmetics X Kourtney Collaboration?

I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars. The only thing I don't like is that the shadows could be more finely ground up and I wish the lip kit had an lip oil added to it so that it would look as bad when the color begins to peel.
