Clutch Your Pearls!
From Lelet's gram worthy hair pins & statement jewelry to Gucci's icon GG belt, faux pearl embellishments are the trend for the spring season! Not only am I crazy excited about this because it's the next best thing next to a little sparkle, but of course I wanted share with all of you exactly how I've been wearing this trend lately. Before I begin I can't discuss this trend without mentioning two designers who have always fancied a pearl embellishment, Nicholas Kirkwood & Chanel, who have made it their brand's signature adornment. Speaking of Nicohlas Kirkwood, the first way I've been wearing this trend is with some of his inspired looks. This pair of faux-pearl embellished sandals gives the right amount of timelessness to a shrealing slide, ideal for this on and off spring weather we've been experiencing recently.
Next up are these Eugina Kim hats and let me just say I am by no means a hat person. In fact I very rarely wear a hat, but the faux pearls and colorways got me 100%. Not only are these wool hats super cute on, but they also do a great job of keeping my head warm on those chilly spring morning on my way to the office. They are absolutely a perfect mix of chic and practical!
Ugh, sunglasses! You all know I can appreciate a fabulous pair of shades and these are nothing short of that. I found this pair on Sunice sunglasses while strolling on Instagram and it was pretty much like click bait for me because I immediately had to search item on their website. Oversized sunglasses are back in for the spring & summer season as spotted on many streetstyle celebs. I can't wait to put my own fun spin on these faux-pearl embellished shades.
The last way I've been wearing this trend is pretty similar to the first, but with a different style. These Nicholas Kirkwood inspired faux leather ankle boots I got during the winter simply because I just had to have them. Not realizing that a few months later they would become a trending wardrobe staple, but here we are. Shop my wardrobe additions & more faux pearl embellished trends below!
